Denmark

In Denmark, the tattoo debate is still going strong thanks to a 50-year old law forbidding the tattooing of the head, neck and hands. Despite the outdated law, the demand for these tattoos is going strong. The only problem is many employers conform to this law and therefore do not make some hires, because this law is still intact. What will come next we don’t know, but it’s about time the government revisited a few of its policies.

In this room, we are going to be discussing the tattoo debate and the reasoning behind each side. Hopefully this can be a group discussion among those in the room, however that might be more complicated to plan. Either way, a representative will be in this room to facilitate some sort of dialogue about visible tattoos.
